Sir Vithaldas Thackersey College of Home Science (Empowered Autonomous Status), SNDTWU, Mumbai and The PCOS Society of India have jointly developed a Certificate course in Interdisciplinary Management of PCOS – Advanced Certification and Training (IMPACT) and the technical collaborators being Docmode.
The Certificate course in Interdisciplinary Management of PCOS – Advanced Certification and Training (IMPACT) is a self- paced, asynchronous online course aimed to enable the learners apply scientific information and develop competencies in the management of PCOS by creating interface between medical and nutrition experts through case study-based discussions.
This twelve weeks online certificate course provides an intensive, self-paced, advanced learning . It is designed by academicians, specialised nutritionists and medical professionals from across the country. This course uses innovative methodologies which is the right blend of scientific information, research based recommendations and practical training through virtual case study discussions and webinars.

Course USP :

1. Online Certificate Course jointly created by Sir Vithaldas Thackersey College of Home Science (Empowered Autonomous Status) ,SNDTWU, Mumbai and The PCOS Society of India.
2. Collaboration with nutritionists specializing in management of PCOS and eminent Gynaecologists, Dermatologists and other medical professionals as expert faculty.
3. Virtual Learning with online assessment, case study discussions, webinars on recent updates as part of the course work.
4. Emphasis on total patient management with team approach of exercise, fitness and psychosocial experts.
5. Twelve week comprehensive modular course with a validity of 6 months

Learning Outcomes of the Course:

1. Apply scientific information and develop competencies in the management of PCOS by creating interface between medical and nutrition experts through case study based discussions
2. Develop proficiency related to generic and case specific nutritional requirements in PCOS
3. Understand the integration of multidisciplinary team approach in the management of PCOS

Eligibility criteria:

Medical Practitioners * ( Gynaecologists, Endocrinologists, Diabetologists, Dermatologists, Physicians, Family Physicians, Ayurvedic and Homeopathic Practitioners ) and Nutritionists**

* Medical degree from a recognized university
**Graduation & Post Graduation in Nutrition & Dietetics from a recognized university

Course Duration: 12 weeks self-paced course. Learners will be allowed 6 months to complete the course from the date of joining the course.

Certification
The Certificate will be issued to the learner at the end of the course. Learner has to achieve 100% marks in each lecture before proceeding to the nex module.
